No bats take home the rookie of the year honours this year, and deservedly so, as there were two rookies in particular that not only put up the numbers, but were crucial to their teams' great record. From the AL, Jeremy Hellickson takes home the hardware, as he had 13 wins in his first year, and was crucial to the Rays' late playoff run. In the NL, Braves closer Craig Kimbrel won by a unanimous decision, taking home all 32 first place votes. He set the record for saves by a rookie with 46.
