Lightning Re-Sign Victor Hedman

The Lightning have re-signed former second overall selection, Victor Hedman, to a five-year contract extension. According to sources, the deal is worth $20 million. Steve Yzerman, general manager of the Lightning, loves what he has seen out of the young defenseman, and has decided to lock him up in a Tampa Bay Lightning uniform until the 2016-2017 season.
